Colour
A pale gold colour with green glints; dressed in such a robe, there is no doubt this wine is from Chablis.
Aroma
White-fleshed fruits (pear and apple), finely spiced, mentholated notes and lime-tree blossom fight for place with freshness and finesse.
Palate
The oyster formed limestone, the true backbone of Chablis wines, gives a profound mineral style, in which we find hidden flavours of peach, citrus and fern. Linear and lingering, the dynamic finish is mouth-watering, almost salty.

Vineyard
Planted on slopes formed from marl and chalky-clay, the vines of Chablis draw their source and therefore their identity, from the famous Kimmeridgian formation; laid down in the Jurassic period over 150 million years ago.
Winemaking Note
The search for purity and a direct, intimate rapport with the terroir means that each step of vinification must be extremely precise.
And beyond the alcoholic and malolactic fermentations (in temperature controlled stainless-steel vats), maturing is a fundamental step that caresses, polishes and sublimates the essence initially found in the grape.
Blason de Bourgogne
The Union of Blasons de Bourgogne was formed when four of the largest cooperatives in Burgundy joined forces, to pool resources and expertise and bring together Burgundian wine-growers from the various appellations of Burgundy. In 2002, they launched the hugely successful Blason de Bourgogne wine brand, which has since gone from strength to strength. In 2006 a fifth co-operative, Cave des Hautes-Côtes, joined the Union.
The aim of the Blason de Bourgogne brand was to make Burgundy understandable to consumers; the name Burgundy is synonymous with quality wine for many consumers, but few have a proper understanding of the different villages, vineyards, producers, negotiants and cooperatives.
The styles of the wines are in keeping with tradition - the aim is not to make New World style wines, but to offer consistent quality across all the wines in the range. Quality is paramount, as the Blason group knew that keeping their customers was as important as attracting them in the first place.
