The 2007 Old Vine Grenache was sourced from wines ranging in age from 80-130 years. Dark ruby-colored, it gives up a spicy perfume of cherry, garrigue, and underbrush. Smooth-textured and full-bodied, It has plenty of savory fruit, good depth, and a lengthy finish. Drink it over the next 5-7 years. Drink: 2009 -2016

Winemaking Note
We have added 4% Carignan which has delivered depth to the colour and intense mocha notes. The Carignan was cropped at ¼ a tonne to the acre and was also planted in the 19th century, a rare variety adding far more than the 4% would suggest.
