Grays Auto Club Membership Terms & Conditions

Eligibility

Purchase of the 1-year Grays Auto Club membership for $150 excluding GST (Membership) is available to Grays Online customers purchasing a car through Grays Online as a cross-sell at checkout.


Payment of Membership

Payment of the cost of the Membership will be a one off payment at Checkout when a customer has successfully purchased a car. The full cost of the Membership will be added to the purchase price at Checkout.


Term and Commencement of Membership

The Membership is for a 1 year period and commences on the date payment is received.


Membership Benefits

The Membership provides you with the following benefits (collectively referred to as "Benefits"):

  1. Annual vehicle inspection provided at KTAS stores

    The annual vehicle inspection is provided by KTAS and includes a check of:

    1. Tyres;
    2. Batteries; and
    3. Fluid levels.

    Any maintenance costs outside of the annual vehicle inspection will not be covered by the Membership. For example, the annual vehicle inspection identifies new brake pads are required. The cost for replacing the new brake pads are not included in the annual vehicle inspection.


  2. 10% tyre discount off the advertised retail price of Kumho, Pirelli & Goodyear Optilife tyres at KTAS stores

    The 10% discount off the advertised retail price is only available on the following tyre brands purchased at a KTAS store:

    1. Kumho;
    2. Pirelli; and
    3. GoodYear Optilife

    Tyre discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other KTAS promotional offers.


  3. 10% discount off the advertised retail price of parts and labour at KTAS stores

    The Parts and Labour discount is available on all parts sold at a KTAS store and labour services provided by KTAS at a KTAS store.

    Parts and Labour discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other KTAS promotional offers.


  4. 10% discount off the advertised retail price of all other KTAS products (excluding tyres, parts and labour)

    The Discount on other KTAS products is available on all products sold at KTAS stores excluding tyres, parts and labour.

    Discount on other KTAS products cannot be used be conjunction with any other KTAS promotional offers.


  5. 12 months' roadside assistance with 365 Assist

  6. 12 free Coles Express car washes

  7. Not at fault accident replacement vehicles

    No cost accident replacement vehicles for not at fault customers provided by Right2Drive.

Membership Card

A membership card (Membership Card) will be sent to the Member within [insert days] following purchase of the Membership.

The Membership Card will display:

  1. Customer name;
  2. Membership type;
  3. Expiry date;
  4. Barcode to obtain car washes; and
  5. Contact phone number.
Grays Online is not liable for any malfunction in the Membership Card or delays in replacing either card.

Lost or stolen cards

You must notify us immediately on [insert telephone number] if your Membership Card is lost or stolen. A card replacement fee of $30 will be charged for Membership lost cards.

How to Claim a Benefit

In order to claim a KTAS or Coles Express petrol station Benefit, you must present your Membership Card at a KTAS store or Coles Express petrol station (as applicable) at the time of claiming the Benefit. If you do not present your Membership Card at the time of claiming a Benefit you cannot claim a Benefit at that time or at a later time.

Transfer of Membership

Membership can be transferred to a new vehicle owned by the Member during the 12 month Membership period. Requests to transfer a Membership must be made in writing.

Membership is not able to be transferred to another individual.

Cancellation of Membership

Customers that cancel their membership before the end of term will not be entitled to a refund.

Expiry of Membership

Membership will expire 12 months from the date of purchase. Unused benefits will be lapsed at the end of term. Any unused benefits cannot be transferred or paid out.
