The Eagles Rest Vineyard is nestled high in valleys of the Brokenback Range in Pokolbin, Hunter Valley.
The fruit from the Eagles Rest vineyard has always been highly regarded amongst Pokolbin’s winemakers for its quality. Many great award winning and famous wines have the fruit from Eagles Rest Vineyard in their DNA and none more than our very own.
The wines from Eagles Rest display finesse and elegance. They show a positive acid structure which gives the wines brightness and liveliness. The fruit characters are always well defined and distinctive. All wines are made from carefully selected low yield grapes with age ability in mind, and most importantly quality not quantity. Eagles Rest is one of the few vineyards in the Hunter region with Olive Trees. With thousands of trees of various varieties. Eagles Rest Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Olive Oil is pressed from the best of these fruits.
