Nefertari, meaning ‘The Most Beautiful of Them’ was the first of eight wives and favourite queen of pharaoh Ramessess II (c1279-1212BC).

Exceptional fruit from a loyal group of third and fourth generation Barossa grape growers is the backbone of Glaetzer wines. With minimal intervention, Colin and Ben make unique, elegant wines which are regarded as classics and unmistakably Barossa Valley.

Tasting Notes

Before establishing his own label in 1986, Colin Glaetzer built an illustrious career as a winemaker at Tyrrell’s, Seppelts and Barossa Valley Estate, where he created the revered Barossa Valley Estate E & E Black Pepper Shiraz. Colin and his winemaker son Ben have a shares philosophy. Both firmly believe that great wines are made in the vineyard. Their belief in the terroir and an understanding of the ancient dry-grown vineyards in the renowned Ebenezer district of the Barossa is evident.
