Aroma/Palate

A rich red brick colour, with a nose of vibrant plum and raspberry, this wine also displays a hint of toasty cigar box rom the oak. On the palate, it is medium bodied, with overly silky tannins and vibrant red fruit. It has a persistent and complex finish.

Established in 1969 and purchased in 1972, Taltarni is a founding winery of Victoria’s Pyrenees. The name Taltarni, meaning red earth, aptly describes the iron rich red soil of the Pyrenees wine region.
