Aroma

Winemaking Note
The base wines are made with very little manipulation to allow fruit to show through. Fermentation is done simply in static fementers and gently pumped over once a day. Ferment lasts around 14-18 days. Wines are allowed to settle before being racked to old barrels for maturation. The base wines are then transferred to bottle where they stay for 18 months on yeast lees.

Knappstein Enterprise Winery & Brewery has been making premium Clare Valley wines since 1974. The winery is housed in the heritage listed Enterprise Brewery built in 1878. Knappstein's philosophy is simply to produce the best of the Clare Valley in handcrafted wines and beer.

In taking a minimal intervention winemaking approach, the winery ensures it captures the purest expression of the fruit in Knappstein's range of Clare Valley and SingleVineyard wines.
