Colour

Dark brooding purple reds. Very fresh looking for its age.

Aroma

Classic ripe cabernet stance – blackcurrant fruit, spice, blackpudding, leaf and cooked black plums.

Palate

Both depth and varietal definition. The palate is surprisingly soft and plush; loaded with blackcurrants, brambles and vanilla over cedar, ironstone and slate. The exit is improved a line of acidity that helps to keep the plushness and velvety tannins in check. A generous wine that is plumb and round yet still refreshing.

Cellaring

Can be consumed now, however the closing seal of this bottle will allow the wine to develop further complexity over 3 to 5 years in the bottle, with careful cellaring.
