The fabric has been treated with a repellent causing water droplets to roll off the surface.

This gilet is suitable for light showers and splashes only as it is not fully waterproof.

The men's fishing gilet has been lined with mesh to help improve breathability.

Breathability is achieved by the ability of the fabric to draw moisture and perspiration away from the skin, essentially helping to keep you dry on the inside.
