The D-Link DGS-1016D 16-Port Unmanaged Gigabit Desktop Switch lets you network up to 16 Ethernet-enabled devices at speeds of up to 1000Mbps. Designed to support Gigabit devices, it is also compatible with 10/100Mbps fast Ethernet devices; ideal for multimedia, graphics and other applications that require large file transfers across the network. The QoS feature helps improve performance when using applications such as Voice over IP (VoIP), whilst the sleek plastic case, which is an industry first, helps generate heat dissipation levels that allow for a fanless design, making the switches silent, as well as economical.
