The sensor plugs into an outlet and detects motion up to 25.4cm away. It then sends a wireless signal to the WeMo Switch to turn the connected device either on or off. Download the free WeMo app to any smart device running Android (4.0 and later) or Apple device (iOS v5 or higher) to program a light to turn on when you enter the house or a fan to turn off when you leave.

Additionally, you can easily set schedules to turn your devices on and off remotely and you can also add multiple switches and motion sensors for increased control. Multiple switches can be linked to the one sensor - turn on a light and heater or a set of lights at the same time with only one sensor.
