Buffalo USB 3.0 PCI-Express Board with 4 Ports

Due to increasing demand, consumers are using more devices featuring the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface. Buffalo's IFC-PCIE4U3S PCI-Express Interface Board provides four USB 3.0 ports to keep more devices connected. USB 3.0 offers transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps for much faster transfer and backups and better performance from connected devices. The ports are also backward compatible with USB 2.0. The PCI-Express connection means the card fits easily, and the ports allow connection of USB 3.0 external HDD, USB flash memory, SSD, and other USB devices at the same time.

In addition to running on Windows 7 and other conventional versions of Windows OS, this product also is compatible with Windows Server 2008 R2 and other server OS versions. This enables faster backups of servers handling large volumes of data.
