With its distinctive looks and convenient size, the Yamaha MCR-B142 Micro Component System will fit seamlessly within any room. With less depth than the previous model, both main unit and speakers comprise of an iron front and top panels providing a feeling of quality. Available in a choice of vivid colours, the MCR-B142 wireless micro system is guaranteed to either complement your existing colour scheme or create a splash of colour!

Simple, wireless control. Bluetooth connectivity and the DTA Controller app

Bluetooth compatibility enables you to enjoy music wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet or even laptop. Put your system wherever you want it, and use your smartphone as you usually do to operate the playback functions. In addition, iOS and Android device users are able to download the DTA Controller app to access advanced functions such as setting the alarm time differently for each day of the week, as well as make detailed IntelliAlarm settings and transmit them wirelessly. The app will be updated periodically for up-to-date, additional functionality.

All your music sources including iPod, iPhone and iPad

By docking an iPod or iPhone, you can enjoy your favourite tunes with high audio quality thanks to the direct digital connection. And by using the USB port, you can play music files from an iPad or USB device. In addition to the CD player and radio (DAB+ and FM), it has an Aux-in terminal for connecting a PC or DAP, maximum versatility in enjoying music from a variety of sources.

Gently wake up with Yamaha's IntelliAlarm

IntelliAlarm gently wakes you from sleep with music. Three minutes before the beep goes off, the music from your iPod or iPhone eases you into your day, gradually increasing in volume until you wake. The DTA Controller app provides enhanced functionality including control of detailed alarm settings.

Trademark audio performance

The MCR-B142 includes Yamaha's Music Enhancer which restores lost audio data in compressed music formats including MP3. The result is markedly improved sound for today's most popular music file types. The speakers feature a new 11cm (4-1/2") driver that employs a large-diameter magnet for enjoying music with rich bass and clear mid and high ranges. Bass sound is deep and robust, thanks to a large-volume cabinet that acts like a bass drum.
