Fox Gordon was founded in 2000 to allow the owners to live the dream of producing, marketing and selling premium wines from the Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills after learning their trade working in some of Australia's largest wine companies.

The founders, Sam and Rachel Atkins (nee Fox), David Cumming, Jane Gordon and Natasha Mooney wanted to produce great wines that provide outstanding value for money under a brand that would offer both integrity and beauty. Importantly Fox Gordon was formed with a long term vision to take necessary time to achieve the founders' goals and dreams.

The Fox Gordon name and logo celebrates the founding women in the company, using Rachel and Jane's surnames to create 'Fox Gordon' and the stylised images of Rachel and Tash to produce the now highly recognisable logo. All the individual wines and sub-brands would carry the name of family and friends.

Building a wine company of real integrity takes enormous commitment, investment, belief, passion and time and the owners of Fox Gordon would not have it any other way.
