The Cigalus estate has 22 hectares planted with international varieties in the best area of the Pays d’Oc. The Cigalus estate is dominated by a 19th century mas (large villa) where the wines are vinified and cellared.

The soil at Cigalus is composed of clay and limestone and the vines are nurtured with biodynamic concepts to produce the greatest expression of the terroir in the wines.

Gérard Bertrand represents a key symbol of the tradition of France’s oldest wine producing region with the modern style of the world’s most popular expession of the international grape varieties.

Bright yellow colour with pale green reflections.

Aroma

Aromas of white flowers, citrus fruits combined peach, apricot, grapefruit and honey.

Palate

The palate is lush, opulent and smooth. This wine is fresh and crisp with hints of subtle vanilla, light toasty oak taste and very aromatic tropical fruits. The long, finish is lively and fresh.
