The very first impressions are of bright, fresh mornings. IT is reminiscent of spring blossom such as hawthorn. They lead into more fruity notes such as summer apple and pear, then citrus, with hints of warm toastiness.
Silver Medal, Decanter 2010
Best NV Champagne, International Wine Challenge 2006
Silver Medal, Mondial de Bruxells 2010
A bargain Champagne that has a straightforward set of grilled nuts, citrus, stone fruits and tropical hints on the nose - pretty elemental. The palate's neat and light, with ripe, easy flavours, a flinty edge and reliable balance. Not the finest Champagne, but certainly well priced.
Score: 90 and 1 glass. Nick Stock - Good Wine Guide 2012.
Appearance
A sparkling clarity, pale gold in colour.
Aroma

Palate
The first impression is lively and fresh. The citrus notes take on a certain maturity. There is passion with gentleness, lightness with spontaneity.
Cuvée Brut
Ever since the Brut Champagne was first created, back in 1785, our winemakers have worked with the same unrelenting passion to creat this unique and unmistakable union of elegance, crispness, radiance and exuberance. What's the secret formula? A blend of fifty crus vinified separately and then secretly blended in our cellars.
Florent-Louis Heidsieck founded this eponymous Champagne House in 1785. His wines gain immediate recognition and in May of the same year, he is said to have presented his already legendary wine to Queen Marie-Antoinette at Versailles.
In 2011, the House works with close to two hundred growers, spread out over the whole of the Champagne area. Regis Camus, winemaker, and his team, refer to a certain number of “House criteria”, established over time and enriched by their own experiences. They follow the evolution of the plant throughout the year and leading up to harvest. They select the grapes that have reached optimal maturity, in the parts they judge best and in a great number of different crus, to allow them to compose an original blend, rich in its nuances. Piper-Heidsieck vinifies the musts separately, varietal by varietal, cru by cru. This is the only way to preserve and respect the typicity of the origins.
The wines of Pipe- Heidsieck are radiant and crisp. Over the last 220 years, the spirit of the House had evolved without really changing.
The Piper-Heidsieck wines have charm and drive, but also structure and precision. They are easy to approach, in all earnestness, as they give a subtle impression of Sophisticated simplicity. And every time one tastes them, on-rediscovers that “small touch” in the flavours that seduces in a inimitable way.
