Originally established in 1920 as a luxurious celebration whisky to commemorate 100 years of the Johnnie Walker estate, the Gold Label was only made available to those outside of the company in the 1990’s, due to the limited availability of the particular Scotch Whiskies that were used in the blending process.
Blending meticulously selected single malts of 15 differing kinds, as adherent to the notes of Alexander II (grandson of the Walker estate founder); the Gold Label is by nature a purely divine offering that embodies the honeyed creaminess of Clynelish whiskies and the smooth oak and malt flavours of Cardhu whiskies.
