In 2011 Pizzini quietly released a new range of wines under the Lana label. These wines are made by Joel Pizzini. Joel is using some old winemaking techniques to make these wines so that some of them show more funky, earthy and savoury notes to the wines in the Pizzini range. These wines are made to be enjoyed with food, especially dishes with Italian flavours.

Colour

The colour is pale straw with olive green hue.

Aroma

Aromas include lemon zest and spices with earthy and funky notes developing as the wine opens in the glass.

Palate

The palate is round and soft with lingering, lemony acidity. This wine has a lovely weight and texture.
