The nose is wonderfully expressive and generous with waves of wild berries, strawberry, raspberry and cherry with accents of red grapefruit and mineral. Flavor: The palate is in full agreement with the nose delivering a vibrant red berry- focused core with supporting wild herb and spice, citrus zest and mineral

Palate

Medium-bodies with bright, fresh acidity that helps create a perfect balance with long trailing spice and tart fruit flavors. We absolutely love vibrant and well-made Provence rosé especially when it perfectly combines fruit and tart acidity. As you know, we love Rosé in volume in the summer so bright, crisp and lovely Rosé and this super wine hit’s our value sweet spot. This multi-layered and complex Rosé is made with a blend of 70% Cinsault, 60% Grenache and 15% Tibouren. The Cinsault adds a great deal of spice, depth and backbone making this a great food wine

Winery Profile

Le Grand Cros is first a story about a couple, Jane and Hugh Faulkner, who fell in love with a little corner of Provence in 1989. On the 24 hectares of vineyards in the foothills of the Massif des Maures, surrounded by pine and olive trees and dry stone terraces, they restored an ancient Provencal manor house and brought a new lease of life to Le Grand Cros. In 1999, their son Julian joined them to take over the reins and carried out major restructuring of the vineyards and upgrade of the winery. This enabled us to better respect the great potential of our terroir and the environment.
