Colour

A dense and deep ruby in colour

Aroma

A complex bouquet of liquorice, dark cherry, blackberry, chocolate and white pepper spice.

Palate

The palate structure is an open weave of chalky fruit and fine oak tannins with a gravelly textured mid palate. Supple and soft red fruits provide a mouth filling richness, while hints of soy and oyster give an interesting savoury finish.

Cellaring

This wine will improve for the next five years and greatly compensate the patient collector who wishes to cellar it for up to 7-12 years.

When two men met in a small village in Burgundy ten years ago, they were instantly connected through their passion for Pinot Noir. “Very deep purple-black colored, the 2009 Shiraz gives earthy / meaty notes of damp soil, underbrush, black truffles and prosciuto over blackberry tart, black cherry preserves and anise. Medium bodied with a great concentration of black berry and savory flavors in the mouth, it has very lively acid, medium-firm rounded tannins and a long, layered finish.
