Winery Tasting Notes

Aroma/Palate

The 2014 Okiwa Bay Sauvignon Blanc has wonderful lush tropical aromas and flavours - mango, pineapple and passionfruit blended with aromatic spices, lychee and hints of citrus. Sea spray minerality, herbs, lemons and limes form the palate while there is a beautiful tropical fruit filled lingering finish.

Vintage Notes

Late April rain did not interfere with our 2014 harvest, we were fortunate to have our Sauvignon Blanc grapes safe and in the winery. Flavours arrived early in the growing season giving good intensity which resulted in fantastic fruit flavours.
