Aroma

The wine has lifted aromas of plums and black cherries with hints of violets and white pepper.

Palate

The generous palate has dark berry fruit flavours of blackberry and plum, complimented by soft, supple tannins with hints of chocolate and spice. The subtle oak influence and bright fruit flavours linger during the long succulent finish.

Food matching

Chorizo sausage in a spicy tomato sauce, eggplant pilaf or even quail stuffed with currants and pinenuts are great with Shiraz.

Winery Profile

Oxford Landing Estates was established in 1958 on the banks of the mighty Murray River in South Australia amidst bountiful sunshine, vivid blue skies and plenty of red Riverland soil.

From planting vines to making wines, Oxford Landing Estates takes great pride in their people – some having spent their whole life on the Murray. They are part of a community who are unashamedly passionate about the vineyards, grapes and working together to ensure the wine going into the bottle is what they envisaged.
