Winery Tasting Notes

Colour

Crimson with purple hue.

Aroma

Ripe blackcurrant and mulberry with a background of toasty French oak.

Palate

Rich sweet dark berry fruits, chocolate, succulent tannins and a warm toasty oak finish. This is a medium bodied wine.

Food Matching

A perfect match with roast duck, slow roasted lamb shanks and mature cheeses.

Howling Wolves wines are made exclusively amongst the vineyards and glorious, soft rolling hills of Willyabrup, Cowaramup, in the premium Western Australian wine region of Margaret River some 300 kilometres south of the capital, Perth. The winery is located on 17 picturesque hectares and employs world leading, state-of-the-art technology alongside time-honoured and traditional winemaking skills.
