Troy Petgloss Insecticidal Shampoo is a mild, gentle shampoo for regular use in the grooming of dogs, cats, puppies, kittens and show animals. It is suitable for the control of fleas and lice and assists in the control of the adult brown dog tick. Troy Petgloss Shampoo does not control the paralysis tick. Troy Petgloss Insecticidal Shampoo contains Pyrethrins which are of botanical origin and have a quick knockdown effect, but no residual effect. It is de-activated in 24 hours by sunlight. Piperonyl butoxide aids in the action of pyrethrins. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Wet coat with warm water. Apply 20 - 50 mL (depending upon the size of the animal) and massage into the coat. Rinse. Reapply shampoo and work up to a good lather. Rinse again. Repeat applications at weekly intervals to obtain maximum protection from fleas, lice and ticks. It is important to also treat the pet's bedding or kennel with a flea spray or powder to prevent reinfestation. Precautions: May cause dribbling and unsteady gait in cats. If one or both occur, wipe off excess product and contact a veterinarian. Composition: Pyrethrins 1g/L, Piperonyl Butoxide 10g/L.
