Warranty Terms for Sony Refurbished Product

Graysonline are appointed by Sony Australia as:

  1. An Authorised Internet Dealer and
  2. An Authorised Sony Seconds Product Dealer

All product is warranted exclusively by GraysOnline

Please refer to warranty statement in each lot which specifies warranty terms.

Full details below:

Sony Refurbished - 3 month RTB Warranty. Your purchase of a Sony Refurbished product is warranted by GraysOnline to be free from defects affecting product functionality ( except where otherwise stated in the lot description ) for a period of 3 calendar months from date of purchase.Should a defect occur within the warranty period GraysOnline at its sole discretion will either.

  1. Repair the Product
  2. Replace the product with either an identical or equivalent model
  3. Refund in full the purchase price of the product

The purchaser will be required to return the product to GraysOnline (NSW) via registered post at their expense. Warranty does not cover misuse of product. All warranty claims are managed exclusively by GraysOnline

Sony Refurbished - 3 month Warranty. Your Sony Refurbished product is warranted by GraysOnline to be free from defects affecting product functionality (except where otherwise stated in the lot description) for 3 calendar months from invoice date. Should a defect occur within the warranty period GraysOnline will manage the repair via an Authorised Sony repair centre for the components covered under the terms and conditions of the warranty free of charge to the buyer. In exceptional circumstances where the product for whatever reason cannot be repaired, GraysOnline at its sole discretion may choose to resolve the issue by refunding the full purchase price of the product. Warranty does not cover misuse of product. All warranty claims are managed exclusively by GraysOnline

NOTE: As Warranty is provided by GraysOnline NOT Sony Australia, serial number has been removed from all Sony product

You will be required to contact Grays Customer Support Team quoting your Invoice Number, Buyer Details, Serial Number and product issue. You will be required to return the product to a Grays authorised repairer (as advised by the Grays Customer Support Team) at your expense. The warranty does not cover misuse of product or software issues of any kind. All warranty claims are managed exclusively by Grays.

Customers who reside within postcodes listed above will need to organise the pick up of products marked as Restricted Delivery. A $20 handling fee per item will apply.

Pick up is available by advance booking only once cleared funds are received. Booking can be made Monday to Friday between 8.30am & 3.30pm (excluding public holidays). Bookings must be made 24 hours prior to pick up date and time. To book a pick up time, please contact GraysOnline Customer Service on 1300 36 25 36, or email pickups@grays.com.au.

Items must be picked up within 5 workings days from sale close date.

To collect your purchases please bring a copy of your winner’s e-mail and photo ID. If you intend to send a third party to collect your goods on your behalf, you need to send them with a copy of your winner’s e-mail along with a photocopy of your photo ID and signed note of authority permitting Grays staff to release your purchases to the third party.

Pick up is NOT available for customers outside the postcodes listed above and for Lots NOT marked for restricted delivery.

Please note:

  • GraysOnline accepts no responsibility for transit damage to these items once they have been picked up from the warehouse.
  • Items must be inspected before removal from GraysOnline as refunds or exchange are not given under any circumstances.
  • Any items not collected after the last pick up date may be deemed abandoned and resold or otherwise disposed of, please see our

Customers Outside the Restricted Delivery Area

For customers who reside outside the postcodes listed above, delivery time frames will depend on your location, please check the shipping calculator to see an estimate of when you can typically expect to receive your goods based on your postcode.

We will send you an email notifying you as soon as your items have left our warehouse.

In this email, you will find the name of the courier company and the consignment note number of your item as well as information on tracking the delivery of your item online. Simply follow the link and enter your reference number. You will then be able to quickly and efficiently track the delivery status of your item!

Please Note: Your goods will be delivered to your registered address. Australia Post parcel delivery standards will apply for regional and country areas, as well as commercial buildings
