Occupational Health & Safety Asset Removal and Reuse
GraysOnline warn buyers that all plant offered for sale at Auction may not be fit for use in a workplace. It is the buyers/users responsibility to ensure that it is brought to a state necessary to comply with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and is fit for purpose.
The cost and responsibility for all aspects of asset removal lies with the buyer. All work carried out by the buyer or his/her agent must be in accordance with relevant site and/or industry conditions as well as to the instructions of GraysOnline Auctions and our vendor.
A summary of these types of enforceable requirements is as follows.
(a) Removal Process
All work carried out by the buyer or his representative in this removal process is to be undertaken by adequately qualified and insured persons. Insurance and trade certificates may be required to be provide. All work practices employed by the buyer or his representative during removals must comply to all regulatory requirements and/or those as required by the vendor.
Industrial Equipment Safety Warning
GraysOnline warn buyers That All Plant Or Equipment Offered For Sale At This Auction May Not Be Fit For Use In A Workplace and it is the Buyer’s or User’s Responsibility to ensure that it is brought to a state necessary to comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and is safe and fit for use in the workplace. Breaches of the Occupational Health and Safety Act carry penalties for people who PURCHASE and OPERATE UNSAFE EQUIPMENT without conducting a thorough safety inspection. Plant MUST be given a safety inspection prior to operation when it is purchased at Auction.
Computer Equipment
detailed in this catalogue may include software whose exploitation is subject to terms and conditions contained in a licence agreement (Licence) and the Licence may prohibit or restrict the use and transfer of such software. Interested parties should consider such terms and conditions before making a decision to purchase. Any sale of Computer Equipment shown in this catalogue is subject to the purchaser’s express undertaking to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Licence.
(a) General Site Access Requirements
Tradespeople eg electricians, plumbers etc will be required to produce relevant licence before commencing work on site
In accordance with current VIC Occupational Health & Safety regulations, Hazard Identification Reports will be provided for all items meeting the definition of plant. These reports are available for inspection prior to commencement of the Auction. Reports for "high risk profile" items will be available from the Auction premises during the inspection period. Reports for "low risk profile" items (ie household appliances) are viewable at any time upon request.
Typically, auctions are over at their posted times. There are some exceptions to this, however, if there are any successful bids on a particular lot within 10 minutes of the close of the online auction (the “Going, Going, Gone! Period), it will be extended until there are no successful bids within the "Refresh Period".
There is no limit to the number of times an online auction can be extended. This makes GraysOnline work more like a live auction where the bidding doesn’t stop as long as there is still interest in the product, rather than assigning an arbitrary cut-off time. This means it is a good idea to watch the action as the auction nears closing time and to check back often
Delivery is an option for this sale. The removal of the goods is the buyers responsibility.
The pickup address is 60 Mason Street, Campbellfield, Victoria. Pick ups are not allowed outside of the dates/times listed below.
Pick up can only be made once cleared funds are received. Purchasers cannot pick up until full invoice is paid. Goods can only be released with the correct information being supplied which includes Sale number, Lot number/s and Buyers name.
Any items remaining uncollected after the nominated collection times will be deemed abandoned.
Assets can be collected on Friday 13th April 2012 between 9.00am and 4.00pm
To collect your purchases please attend the collection address during the times advised with a copy of your winner’s e-mail and photo ID. A copy of your invoice will be on site with GraysOnline staff to assist in documenting the removal process. If you intend to send a third party to collect your goods on your behalf, you need to send them with a copy of your winner’s e-mail along with a photocopy of Driver/ 3rd Party pick up photo ID and signed note of authority permitting GraysOnline staff to release your purchases to the third party.
Once assets are removed the transaction between GraysOnline and the bidder is deemed complete. There will be no recourse beyond this time, even in the event of third party collections. If you are unsure please refrain from bidding.
Important Information: Please note it is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure the safe removal of their lots. Provide suitably qualified personnel to remove their lots. Some lots may be electrically hard wired or services such as air, water, gas or oil may still be connected. Occupational Health and Safety regulations apply to this site. Any questions regarding the removal of any lots should be directed to the enquiries name or phone number indicated on sale web page.
If you intend to send a Third Party to collect your goods on your behalf, you need to send them with a copy of your Winner’s E-mail and Signed Note of Authority permitting GraysOnline staff to release your purchases to the third party.
