Invoice totals exceeding $5000 must be paid by direct deposit.

A Buyers Premium of 7.50% applies to all lots purchased in this auction.

ie: Successful bid price - $100 + 7.50% BP (being $7.50) = $107.50

Asset Condition - Please refer to the individual lot description for asset condition. Most lots have pictures assigned to them. These should be taken as a guide only.

Payment - Invoice totals exceeding $5000 must be paid by direct deposit within 2 days of auction closing. Contact (02) 9741 9600 or email accounts@grays.com.au for an exact invoice total. For invoices totalling less than $5000, your credit card will be debited within 2 days of auction closing. To assist in the processing of payments please have funds available. Invoice totals exceeding $5000 will not be split.

For invoices totalling in excess of $5,000 GraysOnline reserves the right to charge a deposit against the purchaser’s credit card to a maximum of $5,000 or 20% of the invoice total. In bidding in this sale, the buyer agrees without reservation to GraysOnline doing so.

Warranty

Please be advised in the state of South Australia when purchasing a vehicle through auction you will not have statutory warranty, cooling-off period or Roadworthy Certificate. Manufacturers warranties will still apply to a vehicle as per their terms and conditions, you will have to go directly to the manufacturer with the claim not GraysOnline. The balance of a new car warranty will also apply to vehicles sold at auction. No other warranties will be provided.

Registration

As registration and ownership requirements vary from state to state buyers should familiarise themselves with the registration requirements of the state in which the vehicle will be registered. As is standard auction practice the buyer is responsible for state transfer fees, duties etc. that may apply. Please note: Please note: If sold unregistered then the number plates will be removed. If sold with registration, the registration can only be transferred in the state where that registration is held, otherwise it will be sold unregistered and the number plates will be removed. Please check the lot description for each vehicle.

For SA registration, once your invoice is paid, you’ll need to visit a motor registry with:

  • Your paid Grays Online Invoice (you will not need the old registration paperwork, these will not be given with the vehicle)
  • Proof of identity. If you’re registering the vehicle in the name of a company or organisation you will need to also provide proof that it is a legal entity.
  • Application for Transfer of Registration form
You may need to pay for:
  • General registration charges
  • Transfer & Motor Vehicle Duty Fees
  • Stamp duty.
  • Number plates.
  • Late transfer surcharge. A surcharge will be applied to customers who fail to transfer the registration within 14 days of the date of acquisition.

Going...Going...Gone!

Typically, auctions end at the closing time posted. There are some exceptions to this, however. If there are any bids on a particular lot within 10 minutes* of the auction closing time ("Going, Going, Gone!" period), it will be extended until there are no bids for 10 continuous minutes*.

There is no limit to the number of times an online auction can be extended. This makes GraysOnline work more like a live auction where the bidding does not stop as long as there is still interest in the product, rather than assigning an arbitrary cut-off time. To ensure that you do not get outbid make sure you monitor the auction until you have won the item or enter a bid that you think will win!

**DELIVERY IS NOT AN OPTION FOR THIS SALE. THE REMOVAL OF THE GOODS IS THE BUYERS RESPONSIBILITY.**

Pick ups are not allowed outside of the date listed below.

Pick up can only be made once cleared funds are received. Purchasers cannot pick up until full invoice is paid. Goods will only be released with correct buyer details being provided (Full Buyer name, Sale and Lot number and ID).

The Horse Float can be collected via appointment only. The saddle voucher can be sent via registered post.

Third Party Pick Up

If you intend to send a third party to collect your goods on your behalf, you need to send them with a copy of your Winners E-mail and Paid Invoice, a photocopy of your photo ID and signed note of authority permitting GraysOnline staff to release your purchases to the third party.

The information needed is:

  • Copy of the paid invoice
  • Copy of your drivers licence
  • Transport details: company name, contact person and job number provided by the transport company
