In 2013 we took the decision to source Shiraz from the Yarra Valley. The Yarra Valley has a great diversity of mature sites which can produce finer styles of cool climate Shiraz with soft, silky tannins and juicy berry fruit flavours, alongside spice and floral elements. Domaine Chandon Shiraz 2014 displays delicious varietal aromas and a complex palate. Aromatically intriguing, full of charm and medium bodied in structure, the 2014 vintage showcases the complex flavours of Shiraz from cool climate Victoria.

Tasting Note

Dense purple, bright with excellent depth and clarity. Juicy bramble fruits, blackberry compote, violet flowers and delicate baking spice. Dark cherry and blackberry fruit flavours are complemented by silky tannins. Great persistence and completely integrated oak flavours mark the finish of this modern style Yarra Valley Shiraz wine
