Chandon Vintage Brut is blended from the classic grape varieties sourced from a range of cool climate vineyard sites.

A reductive, flinty aroma overlays quince, nashi pear, pine nut, citrus blossom and lemon zest. Toasty brioche and chalky mineral aromas present in the background.

The palate shows excellent palate weight with primary flavours of tangy lemon curd and kaffir lime. Secondary flavours of fresh baked pastry derive from long ageing on yeast lees. The palate finishes with tightly wound acidity, giving the wine remarkable freshness and length of flavour.

Appearance

On opening the wine presents with a pale yellow “straw” colour with flashes of green and shows an extremely fine bead and mousse.

Aroma

A reductive, flinty aroma overlays quince, nashi pear, pine nut, citrus blossom and lemon zest. Toasty brioche and chalky mineral aromas present in the background.
