Colour

Deep and vibrant ruby colour with a purple rim.

Aroma

Displays spicy plum and red berry fruits. Secondary complexity is evident with notes of savoury spice and vanillin oak.

Palate

The palate is soft with a fresh, fruit-driven palate. Ripe plum and black cherry combine with subtle, toasty oak and peppery liquorice notes. Soft velvety tannins add texture.

Food Matching

Best enjoyed with hard cheeses or roasted lamb.
