Semi translucent bright dark red core with a transparent crimson hue

Fragrantly scented nose with red and dark cherry aromas combining with strawberry over a back drop of subtle anise, dried meats and spicy cedar
Palate
Light in body weight yet with very good power the palate dishes up delicious flavours of ripe red and dark cherries along with strawberries over a subtle meatiness, traces of anise and spicy cedar. Finely grained, beautifully integrated tannin structure. Very savoury it finishes bright and lively with a long aftertaste of ripe cherries, strawberries, subtle anise infusions and spicy cedar. A delightful Pinot for everyday drinking.

Stonier are pioneers of the Mornington Peninsula where they first planted Chardonnay in 1978 and Pinot Noir in 1982. Stonier achieve wines of the highest quality through continual improvements in viticulture and attention to detail in the winery. In each of the Stonier wines, Mike Symons looks for that extra degree of varietal definition and site expression. His aim is to continue to develop wines with a regional style, refined structure and seamless complexity.
