Dame Nellie Melba was an international darling of early 20th Century opera and friend of former Seppelt owner Hans Irvine. Legend has it she was curious to bathe in sparkling wine, so we obliged, filling a bath with 152 bottles of our finest.

Inspired by the great entertainer’s pure, effervescent voice (and glorious bubble bath), this sparkling wine has a zesty, lemony palate with hints of bread dough and fresh strawberries.

Aroma

Lifted citrus aromas with underlying notes of strawberry.

Palate

This chardonnay brings citrus fruit notes and a soft creaminess to the palate, while a fine length and crisp acidity is contributed by the Pinot Noir.
