This one is the first Tightrope Walker Pinot Noir Rosé representing the best of the Yarra Valley. Subtle wild strawberries and melon. PINS DES DUNES ROSÉ BY LE PINS FAMILY 2016: Pins des Dunes is a rose´ that has been inspired by the ocean, the surroundings of Pyla-sur-Mer and the light shade of its pine trees. Its pastel colour is the powder pink hue of a sunset over the dune. Its aroma evokes a sea breeze lost in the sweet warmth of the inshore pine trees. This rose´ "de pressées" has been produced under the Bordeaux appellation by Franc¸ois Thienpont, whose family has owned large estates for generations, such as Cha^teau Puygueraud and Vieux Cha^teau Certan. A balance of warmth and freshness, Pins des Dunes is a light wine, an invitation to dream.
