A Buyers Premium applies to all lots purchased in this OEOI. Successful Offer Price = $X offer price + X% Buyers Premium + GST. A 18.5% Buyer’s Premium applies when the offer is less than $1,000, moving to 13.5% buyer’s premium once the offer reaches $1,000 up to $14,999. 7.5% buyer’s premium once the offer is $15000 or more. The Buyer’s Premium will be added to your final offer price.

Note: As part of the OEOI Process, potential purchasers will be required to submit a 10% deposit with their offer document.

  • Note: Engine propellers & shafts removed - Ship will need to be towed away from site. 
  • The Successful Purchaser May Be Required To produce Evidence of a Capability Statement / Removal Plan for This Ship.
  • Extraction / removal of plant from this site must be undertaken in a manner compliant with all relevant OH&S Work Safety legislation / regulations and codes of practice.
  • A satisfactory "Safe Work Method Statement" and copies / evidence of insurances and licenses may be required prior to any work being undertaken.

As this asset is located within a Defence Force base, site entry conditions plus terms and conditions must be adhered to.

  • It is a condition of entry that all persons entering the site comply with any directions given by Defence staff or GraysOnline staff, their representatives or the site controller.
  • It is condition of entry that all persons conduct themselves in a manner which does not endanger the health and safety of other persons onsite and which does not create a risk to health and safety

Please note it is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure the safe removal of their assets, provide suitably qualified personnel to remove their asset & provide appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Potential bidders must determine if they want to register the vessel for recreational or commercial purposes. For recreational purposes buyer will need to ensure the vessel is registered prior to removal from Defence site in order to move it to buyers location. For commercial purposes buyer will need to submit & get approval from AMSA to move the vessel prior to the removal due date. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure the buyers location is an eligible mooring / storage location for the type of vessel purchased and that all necessary conditions, requirements & approvals are obtained prior to the removal date.

  • Work carried out on this site must be completed in a manner compliant with all Occupational Health & Safety legislation.
  • All power tools and equipment used on this site must be tested (tagged) safe for use in accordance with AS3760 service testing and inspection of electrical equipment.
  • The use of certified equipment, harnesses, work platforms etc will be required for any work carried out above 1.8metres.
  • Enclosed footwear must be worn onsite – Safety boots may be required.
